About Company
The MSEI (previously the MCX Stock Exchange), established in 2008 and based in Mumbai, is a national stock exchange recognised by SEBI. MSEI provides a technology-oriented platform to trade multiple asset classes – including equity, equity derivatives, currency derivatives, debt instruments, ETFs and SMEs. MSEI's aim is to increase competition, transparency and accessibility in the capital market in India. It has invested heavily in advanced electronic trading infrastructure to provide efficient execution, robust risk management and seamless market operations.
MSEI aims to be the next-generation financial marketplace by using technology to enhance investor participation and develop the financial ecosystem in India through innovative and digital-first market solutions. In addition to its trading platform, MSEI also offers clearing and settlement services via MCCIL (Metropolitan Clearing Corporation of India Limited), a wholly owned subsidiary.
MSEI's focus has been on creating a scalable and inclusive ecosystem for brokers, investors, institutions and SMEs, through promoting financial literacy and regulatory improvements throughout the market.
